About Paula
From movement to connection, from caterpillar to butterfly.
My name is Paula Sengers. With Vlinderflow, I bring dance, eurythmy and people into movement. My wish is that everyone may develop, connect and shine in their own way.
Who is Paula?
Movement has always been my language.
I was born in 1997 and grew up in a small town in Brabant, in the Netherlands. As a child, I was fascinated by movement, especially dance. Moving to music has always brought me closer to myself. Especially during more difficult times, dance and movement gave me strength.
From that experience grew the wish to connect other people through movement as well. That is how Vlinderflow was born: a traveling dance school where dance, eurythmy, creativity and human development come together.

How Vlinderflow began
A small seed that was allowed to grow into a butterfly.
To me, Vlinderflow represents the development of an idea, a core or a caterpillar, into a beautiful unfolding: the butterfly. That development may come into motion, into flow. It is special to see how people visibly begin to shine more after a movement experience.
Connection
Movement brings people closer to themselves and to each other.
Shining
At the end of a workshop, project or performance, what someone has discovered may become visible.

Traveling dance school
Vlinderflow moves to wherever movement is welcome.
Since May 8th, 2026, I have been self-employed with my traveling dance school. I live in Germany, grew up in the Netherlands and love traveling for workshops, projects, performances and collaborations. The Netherlands, Germany, Spain or further away: Vlinderflow may flutter anywhere.

Whether you have never danced before, live with a disability, already have a lot of experience or are simply curious: everyone is welcome with me. Everything is adapted to the age phase, group and possibilities of the participants.
